Cupid's Ball (open to all)

Madeline was glad everyone seemed to like Epiphany's drink. All of a sudden she heard a familar voice in the new young lady that stood before her. "Happy Valentines Day to you too."
That's all Maddie would say out loud.

~Kyra!!!You look great. Yes you will tell me later. It's good to see you my dear friend.~

Maddie took his gift out of the basket and handed it to Kyra. She also handed his gift from Epiphany.

"Deary wold you mind giving this to your gentleman friend. It's a gift from my a friend of ours named Epiphany. Thank you."

Maddie grinned at Kyra and sent another mental link.

~Make sure he drinks this. Trust me, you'll have the time of your life.~

That done, Maddie returned to her seat at her families table.

Venis and Kahn waited. It was traditional to let the host/hostess have the first dance. So they waited until Casie and her escort had made two trips around the dance floor. Then Kahn rose from his seat and offered Venis his hand. "Thank you love." As she sat her purse on the table.

He escorted her to the dance floor and she turned to face him. She had her right hand in his left, and her left hand was holding her skirts, while his right hand was placed on her waist. At the proper count of the song they stepped off. Kahn lead her around the dance floor with ease. After all, they had been dancing together for years.

Their bodies shared one fluid movement. And their presence on the dance floor meant that others could join.

Isah smiled and slipped the bottle into the breast pocket of his Jacket. Then he opened the box. He smiled. "It's lovely. Thank you. I will give you your gift when we get back to the Inn, along with those Christmas gifts I didn't get to give you." He leaned in and kissed her cheek. He stood there with her while they watched Casandra and tha Marques share the first dance.

Then Venis and Kahn had joined the dance. As Casandra's best friend it was proper to give Venis a lone turn around the floor as well. So once Venis and Kahn had taken one full turn on the dance floor Isah offered her his hand. With a slight bow he spoke. "M'Lady, may I have this dance?"

Andrew was also waiting for Venis and Kahn's spin around the floor. Then he stood and offered Madeline his hand. "Madeline, mat I have this dance?" He smiled at her as he bowed. Venis' men were always so formal.

William wanted to dance with Tasha. So he headed from his table to her's and offered her his hand as well. "Long time no see kitten. Dance with me?" He bowed to her, this was after all a formal ball.

There were four unescorted fairies at Inion's table. Dereks' son Jason went over and asked Juliet to dance. He was just as formal as one of the employee's. Paul asked for Fia to join him on the dance floor. Keven asked for Gabrilia's hand. And Joseph asked Aryanna if she would let him dance with her.

Jorge'soldest son Noe went over and asked Natalie to dance while Juan asked Ilúvënis. The two young men were perfect gentlemen.

Jorge escorted his wife Olivia to the floor. Derek had his wife Karen with him. And Bo, his girlfriend Alyssa.

Gabriela looked up at DJ and giggled. "Of course I will DJ." How did she know his name? From School. She took his hand and let him lead her to the dance floor.

Tasha pasted on a smile. It wasn't that she was unhappy to see William, not at all. She was just not happy to be at a Valentines ball. She rose from her seat while taking his hand. "Of course I'll dance with you Will. Did you think I wouldn't?" She stepped out from behind the table with her hand is in his.

When he got her out to the floor he let her swing wide as she turned to face him. She placed one hand in his and held her skirts in the other. She even let him holder a little closer than she was comfortable with. After all, it was William. He was harmless.

Isah took the bracelet from the box and slipped it on his wrist before he lead her to the dance floor. He held her hand in his with his other hand on her waist. He began to waltz around the dance floor. She seemed a bit nervous. "Would you be less nervous if you were to stand on my feet while we danced? I wouldn't mind, you are so very light on your feet." He smiled at her, this was going to be a wonderful Valentines day after all.

The cake arrived at their table and INion knew the girls had planned it. She looked around to make sure no one was staning to sing happy irthday to her an dhop-ed no one else noticed the cake. In keeping with Iniion's wish they didn't sing or shout out, just a simple happy birthday and a kiss on the cheek from each of them as they handed her a beautifully wrapped box. She knew the boxes even with a quick glance, they were from her favortie place and knew what would be inside. She refrined from ripping into the boxes and carefully untied the silver ribbons, setting aside the purple tulips. Inion loved pearls and in the recent years had found the most wonderful place. Every year she would travel, pour over the new desings and usually ended up leaving with at least several if not all the new designs. This year she had been so busy she hadn't had the chance yet, but it seems Fia and Aryanna had made the trip for her. 4 boxes of Mikimoto pearls. 3 boxes =held sets, each in a different desing and the 4th held a simple but lovely bracelet. Aryanna always made sure there was an extra gift., just in case and this one they marked from Gabriela so she had something and din;'t feel akward. Inion thanked each on and set to dividing her cake for them all to share.

The 3 fairies watched as the hostess was escorted to the dance floor and they grinned to each other. Fia and Aryanna each made a different gesture while Inion made a sweep of her arms. White, Red and Pink rose petals mixed with paper and glitter hearts began to fall. Fia and Aryanna created the illusion and Inion made it so it was real. When they fell on the dancers on the floor they stayed on them, but if they hit the floor or anything else they disappeared.


Fia and Aryanna stood, kissed Inion, and made thier way to the table of men. They were bold enough to ask for dance partners. "Pordon us gentlemen but anyone of you care to dance.' Fia was the boldest and waited for an answer, brushing a lock of firey hair off her shoulder.

Inion was more lady like and waited for Leo to escort her to the dance floor.

Juliet and Gabby sat quietly, they were just a bit too shy to go up and ask someone to dance.

The 2 young ldies blushed yet took the hands of the young men and walked with them to thedance floor. Fia and Aryanna nodded and took the hands of thier men. They stopped and kissed Inion on the cheek, Fia gave Leo a nudge to get him going and went to dance.

Donald Blake had been invited to this mortal ball. Being that Donald Blake wasn't in control right now, Thor Odinson, saw nothing wrong in attending himself. Why? who knows. perhaps it has something to do with the fact that he had met the human host for Lenneth amongst that group of people, maybe there would be another there he could use.

His Entrance was not the usual grand standing, fly through a window entrace he was accustomed to, no The god of Thunder entered through the main gates. and of course he had dressed to the occasion. no longer a helmet and Armor, he wore a dress Tunic that was a beautiful shade of blue. it was similar to his battle tunic, though unlike the other this one was designed for Asgardian high fashion and not for fighting. it had full sleeves. and lacked the circular designs on it. he had black leather breached on. that dissappeared into his knee high boots. similar to his battle boots still, though these where shined and lighter. Long golden locks where also combed neat and where allowed to flow freely, unrestrained by his shining winged helmet. Mjolnir was slid into a place at his side, tucked and though it was in view, it was not battle ready.

The Long red cape was on too, though now, as a proper gentleman, it was not allowed to drag behind him, but was mostly draped over his right arm, which was bent and held close to his side. Thor was a handsome man.Though such was hidden behind his darkened mood. battle hardened eyes. and the armor he usually wore, Tonight maybe a bit of that was able to peek on through.

He just smiles as he looks at his drink. "Actually I am going to hold off on drinking that." With that he got up and bows to Seleen. "My dear would you honor me with a dance." He stood back up and held his hand out to her.
