Quick stop before the ball

Maddie turned her horse around and headed towards Darkmane Castle. If Kyra was summoning her she knew it must be important. After Kyra left, she notced she had left her staff. So she ran back up to her room and got it. She mounted her horse and raced for the castle. She made it there with little or no trouble at all.

Kyra and Maddie gave each other a warm embrace. Kyra had summoned her because she had some gifts she wanted Maddie to deliver to family and friends at the Valentines day Ball at Claremount. The servants put the gifts in Maddie's saddle bags. She wished she had more time to visit, but she needed to head for Claremount before the party was over. She gave Kyra a kiss on the cheek, and promised to comeback soon for a visit.

Madeline Cauthon mounted her horse, and waved at Kyra. She gave her steed a pat. "Come on Swifty lets race to Claremount."

With that they raced to Claremount.
