Come See Santa {EVERYONE who was here before Christmas}

((Ok, I figured out the best way to do this and not make it one gift at a time. I'll have him hand out ten to fifteen presents per post, and put what each one is in parentheses. People can post their reactions as we go along. EVERYONE has at least one gift to open. You can choose to wait until you have all your gifts and then post that you were opening them, or you can post each time Santa says your name. Either way, you have gifts to open. Save for those charries who had not come to the Inn before Christmas time.

There's a stage set up for Santa, and in front of the stage are some rugs for the kids to sit upon. Behind the rugs are some chairs and tables for the adults and the Inn guests. Everyone come on in and have a seat.))

Manny woke up Christmas morning and got in the shower. He was looking forward to this day. He had dyed his hair white. He had cut it, and was now blow drying it so that it would have the right waves to it. He went to his Armour and pulled out his suit. He began to get dressed. Once he had the suit on he noticed that it was a little loose. So he grabbed up a pillow and stuffed it in to fill the suit out better.

He made sure that his boots were shining then put them on. He went out onto the balcony to see if the kids had arrived yet. Still no hay trailers full of kids. He knew that they would take some time to get here. He left his room to go next door to Venis' room. He went inside the open door. "Glad you made it back in time, and alive." He walked over and moved some hair back from her face and smiled as he looked her over. "I hate you going to that place. Is my chimney trick ready?" He walked over to her tea box and prepared himself a glass of Earl Grey tea. He handed it to her to heat for him.

She nodded as she heated the cup of tea. She hadn't even had time to shower and change before he had come in to see her He could tell by the fact that she was still cleaning her weapons and was still wearing her leathers. Manny still had no idea that Venis had created this whole scene for him complete with a comfortable place to sit. He sipped his tea as he went out onto her balcony too see if the kids were there yet. He was anxious. "You're coming down, right?" He turned around and walked back into the room.

Again she simply nodded. He wasn't sure if her silence had to do with where she had gone, or what she had gone through while there, or even if it had to do with the reason she had to go in the first place. But he let it slide either way. He walked over and kissed her forehead. "You know I love you, right?" Another silent nod. Manny just chuckled. "Thanks for the tea, and the trick." He set the cup down and left the room. He knew she would want to shower and change and head to the Meeting Hall where he hoped that everyone else was headed as well. The men were there already, the kids would be soon. After everyone was there, Santa would come down the chimney.

Rose had gone out a few days before and gotten a dress for Christmas. This dress was a simple light green dress that was long with short sleeves and a little shimmery but nothing over the top or formal it was more casual. She added a pair of white slippers to the pile when she bought the dress and figured it would work for being around the inn all day. She wasn't sure what Sage had in mind for the day but she was going to go see Santa. In the midst of shopping she made sure to buy something for Sage and for Dre. Dre's gift was wrapped and sitting on the desk waiting for him to come back for him to get it. She had thought about having it put in his room but she was unsure if anyone else went into his room when he was not there.

The morning of Christmas she went in and took her shower and got herself ready to go. Once she was sure everything was the way she wanted it she stepped out the door and made her way to the meeting hall where Santa was going to be. She walked in and saw that as of right now she was the first to arrive. She found two seats off in the corner by themselves and decided this was the best place for her and Sage. She took a seat and waited for others to come in and join in on the festivities.

Santa's elves were busy in the Meeting Hall making sure that everything was ready. There were large trays of mugs to hold hot cocoa and other various warm drinks. There were some bottles of alcohol for those who chose to partake in such. There were trays of cookies and candies and fudge.

They made sure that the rugs and pillows on the floor in front of Santa's stage were clear and clean and ready to hold up to 200 children. All the chairs were positioned behind those rugs and pillows with tables spread out sporadically through them. There were several large bins for the discarded paper placed around the room. Everything looked great.

And just in the nick of time, as their guest were to be arriving within moments. They opened up the doors and smiled up at the mistletoe that hung above. Anyone who was swift enough would be able to catch a kiss under the mistletoe. Though they seriously doubted it would compare to Venis and Benjamin under that very mistletoe the day before. They were ready, bring on the guests. And their was their first, already taking a seat in the corner.

Emilia got ready for the day she was excited to see Santa, and the children. She dressed in an elf costume made from blue velvet, becayse the children were going to be there she made sure that it went to her knees. It was a bit low cut but not so much that it was inaporiate for young children.

She then put on the perfume that JonLouis had brought back for her, and brushed off her hair. She headed down to the hall after locking her door.

When she got down there she stood in the doorway and looked at everything the room was perfect.

Christmas elf Keven was walking past the door when he saw Emilia the Christmas elf standing there. "Hey there gorgeous." He wrapped one arm around her shoulders and the other around her waist as he turned her and dipped her down for another kiss under the mistletoe. When he straightened her back up he smiled. "You keep standing there under the mistletoe and you will need more than chapstick. Come on in and have a seat anywhere." He smiled and walked away.

She smiled as she saw Keven.

"Hello yourself handsom."

Then he was wrapping his arms around her and tipping her back for another kiss. She returned his kiss and then mived off to a chair that would put her close to the children. She didn't want to miss any of this.

Tasha had woke up early and showered. Then she dried and curled her hair. She pulled out on of her favorite dresses to wear. It looked purple in some light, green in other. She got dressed, complete with matching heels, only four inch.

She headed down to the Meeting Hall. Thanks to Emilia and Venis they had gotten the gifts done in half the time it would have taken, So she had gotten to bed at a decent hour. Does that mean she was well rested, no. But that was not going to effect her today. No Tasha was going to be fine. Especially with Leviathan by her side, wearing a cute red and green bow around her neck.

She stopped in the doorway of the Meeting Hall to pick up her wrap, it had slid from her shoulders and she dropped it. She took the time to put it back in place before she was going to go in. She noticed that the lights were all lit and candles were flickering. It was so lovely, and she could smell the treats that the men had made.

Christmas elf Shamus looked up when he saw movement over by the door out of the corner of his eye. "Oh my Gods ..." He walked over to Tasha and smiled down at her. "Tasha, you look so lovely." Emilia looked fabulous, but then again, so did Tasha. He placed his fingers under her chin and tilted her head up. "Caught you under the mistletoe again." He bent down and placed a soft lingering chaste kiss upon her lips. "Come on in and have a seat."

Christmas elf Keven walked over to the lady that none of them knew. "Merry Christmas miss. Can I get you some hot chocolate or a cookie or anything while we await Santa?"

Dalia had been around the Inn here and there. Most of the time there was no one about while she was. She kept odd hours as sleep was not as necessary for her as it was for some. She chose to come down early this particular morning hearing that there was to be a visit from St. Nicolas. Christmas time was a very special time for her race.

She dressed in a lovely frock with a full bell skirt. Shades of green and gold danced around her petite form. She made her way down to the Meeting Hall sans Zephyr. He had something he had to do to celebrate in his own way. She was fine with it, if he received any gifts she would take them back to her room with her.

She walked into the Meeting Hall with a smile upon her face. There were eight men dressed as elves, and three lovely women. She was early it seemed. But that was fine. Everything was so beautifully decorated, they had even decorated the door to her room. And the mistletoe was a wonderful touch. She walked over and found a seat to wait.

Cad had gone back to his room after his kiss from Emilia the day before. Now he was up and showered and dressed. He headed down to the Meeting Hall to see Santa Clause. He didn't know that it was something that was done in Rhy'Din. But he was glad that it was.

He headed into the open doors of the Meeting Hall and went to find himself a place to sit. He had seem some ladies in there and was all smiles and nods to them, even taking a second to kiss Emilia on the cheek. Once he found a spot he sat down and crossed his ankle over his knee. He would be just like he was when he was a kid, sit and wait to see what gifts were his and see what Santa brought him.

JonLouis had not known when he came to Rhy'Din that he would find a reason to extend his stay. But he had. And he woke way earlier than he preferred to for that very reason. He had checked in back home and made some arraignments. Now here he was getting dressed and heading down to the Meeting Hall.

He walked through the door with his man servant on his heels. He immediately went to Belle's side and placed a long yet chaste kiss upon her lips. Then he took a seat behind her and off to the side. There was a table beside them and he knew that she would use the table to open her gift. That would give him the perfect view of her lovely face when she saw her present. He smiled and waved to Chaton over where she sat and then returned his attention to Belle.

He awoke on another great Summer day, well summer for him at least. He really had yet to understand how the lowlanders called this winter. He had heard that today was some day called Christmas, so he had to figure out what all it entailed. Forgoing his own rituals so he could be with one person.

He remembered her mentioning that there was a gathering, so he decided to look his best. He dressed in the best he had, though it was not as extravagant as he knew many would have.

His was a sky blue shirt, tucked into a pair of black leather breeches. His boots he cleaned up and his hair was put up in a ponytail, using a ribbon of green and gold he had found. Then he headed downstairs and to the Meeting Hall.

He stepped in and looked around. His eyes sparkling like jewels. Then he saw her, now it would be time to spring the surprise. He stepped up to her with footsteps as light as the snow and leaned down and kissed her cheek.

"I du be hopin that it du be fine that I du be wishin tu be sittin wit ye?"

He flashed her one of his smiles.

Emmy watched as the others came in and smiled at them. Cad came over and kissed his cheek, she kissed him back and wathced as he moved away.

She was taking in the sites from the area set up for Santa. She was ejoying this. That was when JonLouis was by her side kissing her. She placed hr hand in his cheek as the kiss lingered and watched him he moved off to the side and slightly behind her. She turned in her chair.

"Hello love."

Rose was lost in all of the festivities and hearing people start to come in as well. A little startled she looked up at the man who spoke to her and shook her head. Her thoughts were elsewhere at the moment but she still smiled to him and spoke politely.

*Thank you for the offer but I am fine for now.*

She thought for a moment before extending her hand to introduce herself.

*I'm Rose by the way.*

Christmas elf Keven took her hand and gave it a small shake. "Of course you are." He smiled, his white teeth a nice contrast against the hint of red to his complexion. "If you need anything, just signal for an elf, we will be more than happy to take care of you." He winked and then walked away.

The other Christmas elves were walking around asking people if they needed anything and basically trying to stay busy as the guests arrived. They were anxious with anticipation.

JonLouis smiled at her. "Bonjour Belle." He reached his hand across the small gap between them to hold her hand. He was not trying to seem possessive, he just loved the feel of her warm silken flesh upon his coldness. "Joyeux Noël." He looked up at the stage area when Père Noël would be seated. "Tell me, have you ever seen Père Noël come down the chimney?"

She took his hand a squeezed it tightly. She didn't think he was being possessive just wanting to be near her and she liked his company.

"Joyeux Noël"

She smiled at him.

"No I have not, I am looking forward to it. While I know he is not real it is more what he stands for. I want to watch the children."

Her eyes were sparkling, she was so happy and alive, she almost looked innocent.

JonLouis was happy that this holiday was bringing such joy to her eye's. He raised a hand to signal for one of Père Noël's elves to come to their table. He asked the man for some fudge and two mugs of egg nog if they had it, hot cocoa if not. The elf, he thought it was Jorge, nodded and went away to get the requested item's. "I am pleased to see you so happy Belle."

The elf returned with the egg nog and a plate of fudge. JonLouis thanked him and then offered some fudge to her as he handed her her drink. Then they sat and waited, enjoying some small talk.

She said as she pointed up.

Tasha signaled for one of the elves to come to her table. When Christmas elf Andrew came over she whispered something into his ear. He nodded and ran from the room.

When he returned a few minutes later her was carrying a eight and a half by eleven pad of paper and a pencil. He brought them to her and kissed her cheek before returning to his duties as a Christmas elf.

She opened up the note pad and began to doodle.

Dalia had been sitting there lost in thought while she waited. She was not sure of the customs of this area of Rhy'Din, but she thought that there might be some similarities. And at least here, they celebrated. The place she was before this did not celebrate Christmas. It was not fun. People thought she was odd for wanting to celebrate.

Something snapped her back to the present, back to reality. She looked up and there he stood. It was Zephyr. The smile that spread across her lips was bright enough to light the entire room. His kiss to her cheek had brought her back from her daydreaming. She rose up and wrapped her arms around him to hug him tightly. "You came." She felt like she was going to cry. "But your rituals." She was so happy to see him.

She moved back from the hug, but did not drop her arms from him. "You gave up your rituals to be here with me?" She could not remember a time when anyone had ever done something so wonderful and sweet for her before. "Perhaps later, we can make time for your rituals? That is, if it will not be too late?" She did not want him to anger his God's or do anything that would bring him any type of harm. She understood the importance of rituals and traditions. She sat back down then and patted the seat of the chair next to her.

"I du be nae stayin in what du be the mountains nae more. Sew du be thinkin that I du be needin tu be learnin the ways of what du be the Lowlands." He said as she hugged him, a smile on his face. He was glad he could surprise her.

He nodded to her question. "Aye I ded be. I ded be thinkin that it du nae be matterin." He flashed her a smile. "It du be fine Prin...I du be meanin Dalia." Even now it was hard for him not to call her by her rank.

"Iffen ye du be wishin tu be knowin my ways, then we du be duin sum thin. We du be havin what du be many a ritual. I du be sure that there du be a way fer ye to be makin it up."

He grinned and looked around, "What du be happenin? I du be needin sum one tu be teachin me."

Inion and Juliet made their way downstairs to see Santa and all the children. When they got there the room was full of lots of people even a few cute Christmas elves. Croga and Dia had joined them and the silly pup was wagging her tail so much that it was hitting the big white tiger alot, to the point where he finally gave her a nudge to knock her down. That only made her more playful and Inion had to give them a look to behave.

A pair of flat bed hay wagons, pulled by horses, traveled down the street of New Haven. Nearly 200 boys and girls from St. Emiliani's Orphanage were nestled in the hay. Dressed warmly in their winter attire excited chatter could be heard above the horses hooves on the cold ground. The children had every right to be excited, for they didn't often have the opportunity to leave the Inn but this time was different.

A few weeks ago, Epiphany had approached Sister Mary-Marks, the overseer of the Orphanage, with a request. The patrons over at the Tel'Ranaemyn Inn were having a Christmas celebration and the children were invited to attend. Not one for exposing the children to many superficial and worldly loves, it had taken a bit of convincing but eventually the deal was made. Epiphany, along with Susie - who was now a Sister herself - and Mary-Jenkins (who was as old as Epiphany and Susie combined), were going to escort the children to and from the festivities and ensure their safety. It was known the type of patrons that were currently residing at the Inn and those two sisters were chosen for their own special set of talents.

During the ride to the Inn, Epiphany sat next to the driver of the lead wagon in her Ms. Clause attire. This was going to be a fun evening. It was a good thing that the driver knew where he was going for Epiphany was never too good with directions, but she always knew where things were.

It wasn't long before the wagons pulled up to the front of the Inn. "Hey everybody, are you ready to have fun?". She asked as she stood up in the front seat and looked out upon the group of children. Her question was greeted with cheers of joy.

Hoping down, the adults helped the children to get off of the wagon and into two, very neat, single file lines. The children looked cute in their attire, even if some looked cold.

They wouldn't be in the cold for long because as soon as they were assembled Epiphany lead them through the front door and towards the meeting hall.

(okay folks, there are about 200 kids. Feel very free to NPC them! Just remember that they're between 6-16! )

Emilia watched as the children came in her eyes sparkling.

"Look JonLouis."

She squeezed his hand as she watched them sit down on the pillows and such that had been provided for them.

She looked at the few children that were close to her.

"Do you like magic?"

She opened her hand and a ball off light appeared.

She children smiled and began giggling as the light started to move between them almost touching them.
