He finished filling the boxes and closed them. Turning the keys in the locks he pulled the keys and handed them to Seleen. Then he went over and moved his smaller box off the hand truck. He lugged each of the two boxes he filled over and placed them on the hand truck.

"You can do that 'mental link' thing, right Seleen? Because I was thinking that maybe someone who is stronger than us could come give us a hand with these. Someone like Dre maybe. I bet he could blow in her rather fast, after all, he did get here before us earlier. He might even still be at the armory."

It was just a thought. The boxes seemed like they would be heavy for Seleen as well as they were heavy for him. So there was no way he was going to let the ladies try and lift them. There was always Sky outside, he thought. Maybe Sky could help but they would have to get them outside first. Either way, he was thinking he was in for a hernia.

That was nice of Seleen, giving them all some money for helping. Ten gold coins, the things she could do with them she was already starting to imagine. How much had their meal been earlier? Surely it was less than a gold a plate, but she probably wouldn't spend her money on food, she could get that from the Inn. Whatever she spent the money on, it would be worth it. She hoped.

"Thanks Seleen." Cad was right about the boxes. Gold was heavy. Ten coins was fine, but ten times the amount was something else all together. "If not, I suppose we could lift them together. Each take a side and lift. Later we all soak sore muscles."

Seleen chuckle as she closed the box she had been counting into. "I could carry them. But, perhaps we should see if Dre isn't too busy at the moment. Because getting them up the stairs, even with a hand truck could pose a challenge, even for me."

She heard Nephalei say she was done and she finished placing her box on the stack and went to get Nephalei's to add to the pile, Vesta's would be on top.

"Cad, do you wish to add yours to the hand truck? It can be left for you in the carriage that we were going to loan you guys. The coach goes back to the Inn, but the open aired carriage would be for you four to use when you go to New Haven, be it later this evening when we get back to the Inn or be it tomorrow. I thought Sky might be more comfortable in the carriage. And it is just as roomy as the coach, so Nephalei, you will be comfortable as well."

Cad thought for a moment while he lifted Vesta's box to the hand truck. With Seleen's help he lifted it high enough to go on top. "Um, sure. I mean, it will be safe, right?" This being a new and strange place for him he wasn't sure about the crime rate.

He lifted the bottom of his T-shirt and wiped the sweat from his brow. Then he looked at his shirt and wrinkled his nose at the sweat stain that was now present. "Does anyone mind if I take this off? I can't stand to wear clothes that have dirt and sweat on them. And it's like really hot in here. The heat combined with the physical activity has me sweating like a stuffed pig."

Did she mind? No, not at all. She wasn't blind, she liked guys, both were two perfectly good reasons as to why she watched the now shirtless Cad. Then a question came to mind that she simply had to ask.

"So Cad, does that mean if I were to grab some dirt and rub it on your pants, you'd take those off too?" Hey it was worth a shot!

Seleen looked at his shirt and grinned. "Fine by me. I'm sure no one else would mind either. And your box will be perfectly safe. Security was upped when the crime spree went on a couple of years ago, that was when Dre's armory was locked down. He has that rare metal there so there was need to protect it."

She walked over to the vault door and held it for them to go through. While she did she linked to Dre. ~Dre, are you busy at the moment? If not, can you come to the keep and get these lock boxes from the vault? They're too heavy and we need them upstairs. If nothing else, we at least need them put by the coach. We can load them from there unless you want to take the five big ones to the Inn with you for your mother.~

While she waited for his reply she escorted the guests back up to the main floor. From there they went into the main hall instead of back outside. She took them through the dining room into the entrance of the castle. There were two stair cases that seemed to go on forever. They wound up either side of the room.

They took the one on the right that lead to the East wing second floor. As they walked down the hall here were doors along the wall on the right. They were all clearly labeled.

"Cad, you look to be about Alex's size if you wish to raid his closets. Tasha's are down here more because these rooms are strictly family." There were several unmarked doors then there were Tasha's rooms.

"I am guessing if I move in here I will be getting rooms here near Tasha's. Ok, Vesta, it's all you. Nephalei, you look like you would maybe fit Tasha's clothes. Or you could try Krys'. It's up to you if you even want any new clothes. And I promise you, nothing in these rooms has ever been worn."

She opened Tasha's day clothes room and inside was racks and racks of clothes on hangers. There were also dressers and dressers of clothes. There were shelves with clothes on them. Everything was categorized by type and color coordinated. There were three racks of just jeans. Basically, if it existed, it was in this room. And they were all like that. Each room was approximately the size of a good sized two bedroom apartment.

"Have fun." She walked off to go to Venis rooms. "Cad, Nephalei, all the rooms are unlocked, enjoy." She went into Venis' first room of day clothes. While she was headed in Dre got back to her. He needed to know how many boxes and such. So she told him. ~There are five medium sized lock boxes, you know the steel ones that are like little safes. They each contain one hundred thousand small gold pieces in them. They are all for your mother, so I think she either wants them in the basement with her or in their room on the top floor. You should ask her, probably the basement for now. They are here in the vault in the castle dungeon. We put them on a hand truck, but couldn't pull it up the stairs. And the humans are on the second floor with me. There is a small box, it needs to go to the coach out in the courtyard, if you don't mind dropping it off on your way?~ Hopefuly she answered all his questions. She went about looking for some sweat pants.

As he moved through the shadows he tried to make out Sleen's message. Chest were on the second floor with a truck full of hands and they were in the vault? That made no sense to him. So he figured the best way to go and get it straightened out was to ask her in person. Maybe this time she would not be breaking wood. Though he did like the free labor.

He chuckled and cames up out of the shadows not far from the group. He heard Seleen tell two of the group that doors were unlocked. He fumed for a moment but calmed down. He stepped out, unbeknownst to him that he was naked as the day he was born, from the shadows and raised his hand. The only thing he had one was gauze bandages from his missing scales and a smile.

"Greetings all," he said hoping this time he would not startle them to bad. Just enough though. It was always fun to startle folks, even big bad Kindreds like Seleen. "Seleen, I think I got your message confused and if you all are here and there are not boxes. Then I did the right thing in coming here first. Seems I heard that there were boxes here and a truck full of hands and you all were in the vault. Only thing I heard clearly was a small box that needs to go to the coach in the courtyard. Why? I do not know, when I can carry it back to the inn as well as the others. Shadows are nto that heavy. So how about you set me straight on what needs to be done, and oh yes. We await you to finish what must be done Miss Temper." He smiled to show he was kidding but to also let her know she had been given a nickname. So he crossed his arms and waited.

Seleen turned around to see Dre in the hallway. She smiled and shook her head. She walked over to him and pressed her body to his and rose to her tip toes to try and whisper to him so that no one else could hear. "Dre, if you were busy it could have waited." She rubbed her leg against him to let him know what she was talking about. "For some reason, men are fond of appearing naked in front of me today. Perhaps you would like me to show you what I did with the last nude male I got my hands on?"

She lowered back down to her feet and gave him a little breathing room. "There are five lock boxes in the vault. They are for your mother. The smaller one is Cad's. That's why we wanted it left at the coach. Your mothers boxes need to go to her in the basement of the Inn please. And I do appreciate you coming and getting them for us."

Cad was headed into Alexanders day wear room when Dre popped up ... naked. He shook his head and continued on into the room. He figured he would grab a clean T-shirt if possible and then go down to Tasha's rooms to 'help' Vesta.

He got the T-shirt and then went down to where Vesta was, passing Seleen and Dre as he did. He popped Seleen on the butt as he went by so she would jump and fall against Dre. He chuckled as he continued on. He got to where Vesta was and stood in the doorway, "Need any help?"

He listened to Seleen, and well he was male so there would be a reaction. He smirked and whispered, "Tasha was healing me from my time in the forge. Guess i forgot to go and get my cloth back." He chuckled and stuck out his forked tongue at her. "Besides, I do not think you could handle it. But might be a Dance that you would be allowed." He once again winked, but she would also feel the lust he was still radiating.

"If Cad wishes I can take his with me. If they are all together, it will just be one trip. So no need for side trips." He said that as he saw Cad, then chuckled as he smacked Seleen in the butt. He nodded his approval, and then Seleen was knocked into him more.

Already on a high from seeing Cad topless and sleek with the effort of moving all those boxes she didn't need Dre to appear naked. Half way down the hall she was when he appeared and that vibe he was giving off made her fall into the wall and rub her eyes. What was with the guys around here?

Breathing deeply she made it into one of Tasha's rooms. Now she was hot. Thinking that she was alone Vesta pulled down the tutu and set it aside along with her shoes leaving her simply in the t-shirt and black and purple leggings. Underwear too. Under the odd clothing, she was actually a female! What do ya know. Walking over to one of the chairs in the room - there had to be something to sit down on right - she propped up her right leg and put her foot in the chair.

Vesta was rolling the legging down her leg when she heard Cad at the doorway. "Need any help?"

"I could use some help with these stockings." Smiling as she kept her leg on the chair.

He pushed away from the doorway like someone had lit his butt on fire. He walked over to where she was and was soon in front of her. He placed a hand on either side of her thigh and began to roll the stocking down for her slowly. All the way to her ankle. The he took her leg in one hand and lifted slightly. With the other hand he removed the stocking from her dainty foot. He set her foot back down and she switched legs. He repeated his performance of the slow removal of her stocking. "Anything else?" He smiled and winked.

He was stirring things in her that had been dormant for over a hundred years. "I don't know how ... you're doing it,... but if you don't stop it ... we'll be dancing ... right here in the hall." She fell against him and felt his entirety against her. "And I might not be ... able to ... handle it, ... but I would sure ... have a good time ... trying. So I just ... might hold ... you to ... that dance."

She placed her palms against him and tried to push herself back from him, but her legs were rather wobbly. She closed her eyes and shook her head. She really didn't need the energy he was putting out on top of her loosing her control over other things. If she didn't find a way away from him soon she was either going to feed or ... Maybe even both. But she didn't have the strength in her legs to pull away. "You ... should ask ... Cad ... if he ... would ... like ... his money ... taken to ... the Inn." Hang on girl, hang on.

How perfect was this? Once he was done Vesta stretched her arms above her head and then drapped them around Cad's neck.

"Mmm, yes, there is something else. The way I see it, we're uneven. You're not wearing a top, but I am. You're wearing pants, and I'm not. I feel over dressed. " Trailing fingers down his back before hooking her thumbs into the waist of his pants.

Bringing her lips close to his ear she spoke softly. "I take off your pants, you take off my shirt, and lets have ourselves some fun before event cuts us short. Set off our own explosives."

He brought his hands up to her waist and ran them up her sides to the edge of her shirt. Then he whispered in her ear. "You are worth more then a roll in the hay in someones closet. You deserve roses and candlelight and a soft bed with music and romance. But you can have all that when we get back to the Inn." He didn't let go, but he pulled his head back from her ear and kissed her lips deeply and passionately.

Oh now wasn't he the smooth one? As she was about to put up a protest she found herself in a lip lock with him, and there was nothing to protest about that. Not to mention that Cad was a different sort of guy that usually took any type of interest in her. Already having fingers hooked into his pants Vesta held him to her, returning the kiss and pinching him on the rear.

Romance was something she often missed out on, exchanging it for games of tips and taps. Vesta could always play. "Damn." That was what she said when she came up for air - needed to breathe. Whether that was for the kiss or his words was to be determined. It could have been for both.

She took her hands out of his pants. "Your right. I can wait but, if you strip anymore I can't promise anything." Couldn't. What can she say? The guy was gorgeous.

He grinned at Seleen and sent her a link. ~I owe you something for denying you one Dance so here it is.~ With that he would direct one major blast of pure lust right at her, all the while holding her so she would not fall. It would also fill the Keep, both men and women would think it would be from the person in front of them. No matter who it was or what they had said.

He grinned an evil grin at Seleen as he did this, letting it go for a good ten minutes. He then whispered, "Keep it to yourself." He winked and his forked tongue came out to lick the side of her cheek briefly. Then began the slow walk towards his room for a loincloth and a few things for himself. His was the one room that none entered.

She closed her eyes as he held her to him. The waves of lust flowing over her filling her body in every possible way. She did not scream, though she wanted to. She fought to redirect the energy, to disperse it better. Suddenly, she had a pulse. Her eyes popped open for a moment then closed again, tightly. She gripped his arms as he held her to him. Squeezing tightly, she hoped he could handle it, she figured he could.

She leaned backwards a little arching her back and letting her head fall backwards. It had been so so long since she had felt like this. And here he was causing these sensations without there being ...

She just would not let herself scream. It would alert the others to something going on. She had no idea that this wave of lust was filling the entire keep. More and more energy filled her body and surrounded her. Not only did she have a pulse, but she was breathing as well. Labored breathing, but taking breath non the less. She felt ... Alive.

She couldn't keep from saying anything any longer, but she managed to make it a whisper. "Oh Gods ..." She knew it was making him happy to see her like this, and one day she was going to return the favor. After all, she was a vampire, if she could just get him with her eyes, get into his head, he would be hers, at least long enough for something like this.

She was going to have to give as good as she was getting and what she was getting was awesome. She felt her legs getting weaker, she had muscles twitching everywhere. She opened her mouth in a muted scream of pleasure. She caught her breath and held it, held it longer than anyone who needed to breathe ever should be able to. Luckily she didn't need to breathe. But it felt like it now. She felt like she was asphyxiating. So she chose to breathe once again.

Another whisper escaped her throat. "Oh Gods Dre ..." It was all she could say. Her knees buckled and she began to drop in his arms. He held her there not letting her fall. Then she collapsed against him. His forked tongue caressed her cheek and she couldn't help but smile. He had said for her to keep it to herself, like she could tell anyone. Most would not believe her, others would be angry with it happening at all. One thing was for certain. He put the smile back on her face.

As he walked away to his rooms, rather slowly for them being in the West wing, only closets in the East, she fell against the wall behind him. She took some time to catch her breath, wondering how long that side effect would last. She still had a racing heart as well. Another odd side effect. It took her a while to be able to move, but she walked along the wall until she came to the stairs. She stepped out of her heels and jumped to the floor below. She needed a ladies room, a bottle of blood wine, and a cigarette, and she had quit smoking 150 years ago.

((WOW! ::Drops to his knees and throws his arms up bowing to the God and the Goddess.:: I don't know where that came from, but wow. Let's see how well I can do. Although I am sure no where near as well.))

He was holding Vesta in his arms when he was suddenly hit with a rush of lust for her. He had no idea that she could wield such a power. Just looking in her lovely eyes was making him want to take her right then and there.

He couldn't resist the urge to kiss her again. He pulled them closer together and pressed his lips to hers again. Sending his tongue into her mouth to caress hers like dancers waltzing across the floor. His hands traveled up and down her back slowly, holding her tightly against him. He ran his hand up into her hair holding her head.

His muscles tensed and rippled as he held her, it was like nothing he had ever felt before, or ever would again. He moved his arms back down to around her waist and he picked her up to let her encircle him with her legs. He wanted her, he wanted her bad. But not here, not like this.

Yet he couldn't break the kiss. It was all he could do to just hold her close and kiss her deeply and passionately. The chair she had previously put her foot into was right behind him, so he sat down before his knees gave up on him. That made it even harder for him to control himself as she was now sitting in his lap.

His pulse was racing and he was lost in her. He broke the kiss, needing to breathe. But he buried his face in her neck and shoulder breathing in the scent of her hair. He began kissing her neck and nibbling on her ear. He whispered softly to her. "I want you Vesta, as soon as we get back to the Inn. I need you."

He moved his way back to her lips then, not even giving her the chance to respond. He kissed her like he had never kissed any woman before. And when the rush of lust was over he broke the kiss. His head collapsed against her chest and shoulder and he continued to hold her in his lap, just trying to catch his breath.

Placing her on his lap did nothing to help the situation in the least. She was already enraptured by him and this sudden wave of desire did not help. When he broke the kiss off to speak to her Vesta kissed along his neck and bit at his shoulder. Hands moved between her legs to the top of his thighs. Gathering at the middle they pushed down at what was there.

He had said that he wanted to wait, but how could she believe it with the energy he was giving off? His kiss was so strong that she moaned into it, capturing his tongue once or twice. It was enough to take her breath away.

Now that he was catching his own breath, having him rest against her, Vesta squeezed with her own hands before they moved around his back and she slid forward in his lap. "You wouldn't be so cruel." For all the world she wasn't a girl who whined but she sure as hell felt like doing it now. Pushing up on his lap her arms embraced him; bending her head to have her hair drape over his neck and shoulders, she bit him a couple of times. Playful bites. His head felt warm against her chest as she drew in deep breaths.

She knew what he said and she was trying to abide by it, really she was, and it was all she could do to keep herself from grinding against him heavily as she was straddled over his lap.

He chuckled as he walked along the Keep, as he was proud of his handiwork. He was walking slow, so that he could admire it, but soon was off running. He had another job to do, but he did send off one more mental link to Seleen ~Hope you liked and to let you know, we are ready. We just require your presence. Have fun storming the castle.~.

He soon came to his room and gathered a few things. He did not know id it would work but he searched for Cad, knowing his looks. He spoke softly to him in his mind, not knowing if it would work. ~'ello there. Not sure if you will get this, but if you do. I will be taking your box back with me. I shall have it placed in your room and your room gaurded by some of Seleen's folks. To answer, just think the word Yes or No.~

He gathered his items, some of them bringing a grin to his face,a nd even remembered to dress himself this time. He then began the descent to the vaults and soon saw the hand truck. That was definintly a lot of gold. Someone would owe him for this one, he thought and chuckled making sure Seleen got the last thought.

Cad was enjoying being snuggled up to Vesta. And he was trying so hard to figure out how to get her up so she could find some clothes. He suddenly wanted very badly to return to the Inn.

He was trying to find the words when he suddenly heard Dre. Thinking they had been caught and were in trouble he jumped up from the chair, grabbing Vesta by the waist as he did, pulling her from him to place her feet back upon the floor. "What the ... Dude, Dre, I'm sorry man we were just ..."

He looked towards the door and there was no one there. The place where Seleen had bit him was itching again, bad this time. He rubbed the denim that covered it as he walked over to the door. He looked out and saw no one again.

He returned his attention to Vesta. "Did you hear that? Dre just said something. He said he was taking my gold back to the Inn and having it put in my room. That he was going to post guards or something. Did you hear him too?"

Dre had told him to think the word yes or no. So he figured he would give it a try. ~Um, ok, yea, sure. That'll work, thanks."~ He returned to Vesta's side. "Let's find you some clothes dear, I think I need to talk to Seleen. But first, clothes for you. I noticed there was a room of evening clothes and a room of night clothes too. Gunna check out all three?"

He stopped rubbing the bite because he didn't want it to start bleeding again. But it still itched. He hoped that she hadn't done something to him that was any kind of permanent. He had read somewhere that when a vampire bites you it was like the first step to them owning you or turning you or something. He was not ready for that. He hoped that what he read had only been folk lore.

Talk about being knocked on your feet, though it was probably for the best. Or not. She was going to look at it as being for the best because they might not have left the room for a while otherwise. It was good that Cad still had a hold of her for once she was back on her feet Vesta was feeling a little dazed.

She put a hand to her head and exhaled deeply, having the feeling that she was coming off of some pretty strong stuff. "Huh? What? Dre?" Totally out of it she didn't have a clue what Cad was talking about, took few moments for everything to set in. "No I, I didn't hear anything." That didn't surprise her though because she hadn't been paying attention to anything else but her desires.

Patting him on the chest she stood under her own power. "You.. go and do what you have to with Seleen." She cleared her throat. "If you see what I pick out it won't be a surprise." And she didn't know how longer she would be able to behave. Especially once she started to undress to don new clothes.

"I'll be fine." She gave him a smile and a kiss on the cheek.

Seleen hit the floor with a thud. It had been a long time since she had made a jump like that. She sprinted for the bathroom. Once she left the bathroom she headed for the kitchen. She got a bottle of blood wine, she popped the cork and started chugging from the bottle. Venis would had kicked her tail for such an offense.

She polished off the bottle and tossed it in the recycling bin. Then she grabbed another and popped the cork on that one. She took a swig from it as she went to the freezer and got out a pack of Venis' cigarettes. She was packing them on the counter and looking for a lighter or matches when she got the mental link from Dre.

As she was pulling out drawers she responded to him. ~I liked very much thank you. I will be along as fast as I can. I think Sky left, so the horses can get us back a little faster than we arrived, Transylvanian Horses and all. So we'll be back soon.~

She found a box of matches in the back of a drawer, hard to find lighters and matches in a castle owned by the Goddess of Fire. She opened the cigarettes and pulled one out. She almost didn't light it, but then she heard Cad calling to her from upstairs. She lit the cigarette, grabbed up the bottle of blood wine and headed back upstairs.

She moved extremely quickly up the stairs. She was standing before Cad in less than 10 heartbeats. "What?" She had smoked the cigarette just as fast as she had moved up the stairs. There were standing ash trays along the halls and in the rooms in various places throughout the castle, so she walked over to the closest one and put the cigarette out. She lit another, took another swig of the blood wine and motioned for Cad to follow with a head nod as she went into Venis' rooms to find some clothes.

Cad smiled, a surprise huh? So he kissed her cheek as well and headed out of the room. He was still a little disoriented from Dre being a voice in his head. He went to rub his thigh again and walked into the wall to the side of the door. "Ouch! That'll leave a mark." He rubbed at his head as he left the room.

He was walking down the hall calling to Seleen, when he looked up she was suddenly there. "Um, Dre ... you ..." He kept rubbing his head as he followed her into Venis' room. "What exactly did you do to me when you bit me?" He tripped over a chair and fell into a stack of cardboard boxes. The top one spilt on him and covered him in bra's and panties. "Damn it. Ok, this is just wrong. That bite is itching like mad, I'm hearing voices in my head, I felt like a dog in heat a few minutes ago and almost took Vesta right there in Tasha's closet. Now I'm disoriented and running into things and tripping over things. What is going on around here?"

He sat down in the chair and started picking up the bras and panties, putting them back in the box. He watched Seleen go through drawers while he waited to find out what was going on.
