He pulled the food into his mouth as he laughed. He waited until he had finished hit food in his mouth before he spoke. Then he leaned over to whisper in her ear. "But I like to play with my food." He chuckled as he tore of another piece of sandwich and ran it around in his soup bowl again.

She smiled as she heard him whisper to her. She knew that all to well. She finished her food and turned her attention to TV while she waited for him to finish eating.

He was lifting the bread from his soup and watching it drip back into the bowl and then sometimes trying to catch the drips with his tongue. It took him twice as long as it did her, but eventually, he got the food ate. He hadn't realized until he felt full, that he had even felt hungry in the first place.

She smiled as he finally finished the food. She picked up the dishes and put them back onto the tray and stood up.

"I'll bet you feel much better now."

She was bringing the dishes to the sink and washed them. When she came back out she sat next to him and then leaned back into him.

He wrapped his arms around her as she laid against him. "Yea, I guess." He grinned. "I guess my stomach gave in after the first few bites." He chuckled and held her as they watched the rest of the movie. After all, it was just starting when he turned it on, so they had to watch it to the end, right?

She was nice and comfortable, he made a great body pillow. She finished the movie with him.

"I knew that you were going to be hungry love, I am glad you enjoyed lunch."

He smiled as he kissed her temple. "Yea, yea, yea. You won. So, how about some desert?" He chuckled and winked at her. She had suggested messing up the bed. He was trying to get around to it before lunch, so what better time than the present?

She turned slightly to face him.

"What did you have in mind love?"

She was sure she knew what was on his mind. He had been trying to get her in that bed since he lost his towel.

She turned fully and kissed his lips.

"Something sweet perhapse?"

He laughed and then returned her kiss. When the kiss ended and she asked him if it was something sweet he wanted he grinned. "Yea, I think you're pretty sweet." He scooped her up in his arms and carried her off to the bedroom kicking the door closed behind them.

It was a few hours later and Emilia came out of the bedroom. She headed to the bathroom to get cleaned up and came out in a dressing gown. Where had the gown come from, well her bag of course. She went and sat down on the couch as she streched. The smile on her face went from ear to ear.

Isah came out shortly after she did. He had undressed the bed and threw the laundry into the hamper in the laundry room. He went into the bathroom after she came out and got cleaned up. Then, still in his boxers, he joined her on the couch. "Sweety, didn't you say Manny had something for me to do?" He stretched out with her so they could lazily watch some TV.

Em smiled as he streched out beside her. She curled up against him and began looking behind his ears.

"Oh Manny right, he wants you to conect the catacombs beneath Claremount and the Keep, and not by a direct means, he said make it a maze.

Isah nodded in response and pulled his head away to look at her inquisitively. "Babe, what are you doing?" He had washed behind his ears when he showered, why was she checking them? He arched an eyebrow at her.

"Looking for gills. You have to have a way to breath through your ears."

She started laughing and then curld back up with him.

"So what shall we watch now?"

He bust out laughing at what she said. "I'll show you breathing through my ears. Oh wait, I already did." He started laughing harder. "I don't know sweety, you pick. Did he say why he wanted them connected?" He handed her the remote.

She took the remote from him as she laughed.

"That you did love."

She began fliping chanels and stoped on an action movie.

"No he did not, just that it neded to be done A.S.A.P"

Isah nodded then. "Ok, first thing Monday morning I will get a crew together. I know some good diggers, it will be hard for the support beam guys to keep up with them." Ok, so not everyone in Venis' employ was pure human, some weren't human at all.

She nodded and smiled.

"I'll let him know when I return."

Em and Isah spent the rest of the weekend togeather watching movies and messing up the bed a lot more. All in all it was a good weekend, she hoped Isah could move past everything and heal now.
