After Seleen left the flooring store she headed across town to the paint store. They carried paints, wallpaper, and other such amenities for the walls. So it was only logical that it would be her next stop. When she went into the store she immediately located the paint swatches. She headed over to them to start picking her colors. She knew she needed a red for the walls, and then some black, maybe some white or gold for little accents on the dragons. She hoped she would be able to get someone to paint them for her.

As she was looking at swatches a young lady approached her. "Hello miss, may I help you today?" She was dressed somewhat casual. Of course, working around paint all day could be a good reason for that. So it was jeans, tennis shoes and a polo shirt. She had one of those smiles that said 'I love my job.'

Seleen turned and looked at the small blonde woman. She gave a hint of a smile. "Maybe you can. I am opening a Salon over at the Tel'Ranaemyn Inn. I was going to paint the walls red with black dragons." She looked at the two swatches she held in her hands for comparison.

The blonde looked up at the taller woman. "Ohh, I remember seeing some signs for that place about a year ago. So they did open and now they're adding a Salon? How very cool. But if you want red with black dragons, I should show you some new wallpaper we just got in." She was suddenly very excited. "My names Brooke by the way. What's yours?" She reached for Seleen's hand.

Bubbly blonde Brooke, it figured. Weren't all boppy bubbly blonde's named Brooke, Betty, Betsy, Barbara, Barbie, Brittney, Beth, Bridget, Bambi, Becca, Barbarella, Belle, Bunny or some other twisted name that started with a B? Seleen pulled her hand back before the boppy bubbly blonde Brooke could take it. Nothing like cold dead flesh to ruin a day. "Seleen. Lead the way." She followed along behind her.

A moment of a curious look as Seleen pulled her hand away. But maybe she just didn't like to be touched, which was fine. So Brooke just headed back to the books of wallpapers. She picked up the one on the very top of the pile. "If you like it, you would be the first to get it. We just put it out on the floor today." She flipped open the book and turned a few pages to smash her hand down, index finger extended. "Here you go Seleen. It also comes in black with red dragons. Isn't it cool?" She smiled and showed off a mouthful of perfectly straight pearly whites.

Seleen looked at Brooke and smiled softly. She hoped she could wrap things up here rather quickly so she could escape the cheerleader and stop thinking about food. She looked at the paper the woman picked out and her smile widened a little. "Perfect. Thank you Brooke." That was when she caught site of something out of the corner of her eye. "Brooke, is that bamboo panels?" She was already headed for them as she spoke.

Brooke looked over to where Seleen had looked and now was headed. "Um, yea. Oooo, with your theme of the dragons those would be cool." She headed over to the bamboo panels right behind Seleen. She thought that it was great that Seleen was thinking bamboo.

Seleen started going through the panels and looking them over. She found one that she liked and she pulled out her little note pad. She started making notes to figure out how much of each thing she would need. Then she turned around to face Brooke. "Ok, this is what I need." She handed her the slip of paper. "So what's my damages." She smiled, glad that her visit to this place was almost over.

Brooke looked at the paper. "Seriously, cool." She headed over to a register and added everything up, including the glue for the paper, the other glue for the panels and the other supplies that Seleen had put on her list. The total showed up on the screen and Brooke grinned from ear to ear when she gave her the total.

Seleen looked at the screen and nodded as she pulled out the gold to pay for her purchase. She gave Brooke a polite smile. "Thank you, here's the address for delivery, have a nice day." She headed out of that store and away from the bubbly boppy blonde Brooke as fast as she could. She'd had enough of the cheerleader to last a lifetime.
