Transporting Guests. {Start Here. Unless you are arriving early.}

The coaches and carriages began to pull up in front of the Inn to transport the guests of the Inn to the St. Valentines Day Ball at Claremount Castle. They formed a line out in front of the Inn to await the guests. The first carriage to arrive was one that Venis had gotten for her 300th Birthday from The Vampire Council. There was a special tongue attached to the carriage, it looked long enough to accommodate ten horses. But there were not reins for horses. And the beast pulling the carriage was the reason why. When Venis was in the Society of the Blood Rose, she had been given a gift. A pink dragon named Willow. Everyone at the Inn was about to become acquainted with the dragon as she was pulling Venis' carriage. The other special feature of this particular carriage, aside from it's shape, was that it was fully illuminated.

This carriage could seat up to six. But it usually only carried four. The guests who would be riding in this carriage would be Venis, Kahn, Tasha, and Ilúvënis. There was going to be room for at least one more if the space was needed.



The carriage that was right behind that one was Venis black carriage. It was being pulled by four of her black Clydesdale's. Seated in that carriage was supposed to be JonLouis and Emilia, and Seleen and Shuda. It was only a four seater.



Right behind that was the carriage that was the white one that Venis had intended for The Marqués del Stry for Christmas. But as he had politely refused, Venis figured she would just donate it to the Inn with the horses for the use of the Inn employees or guests if they deem to allow such. It was pulled by the two horses that Casandra had provided for it. And seated within this carriage was slated to be the Cauthon family. Provided they were going to the ball. If not, the seats would be open for others. The carriage could seat four.



Behind that carriage was a second black carriage for the employees of the Inn to ride in. It two was pulled by some of Venis' black Clydesdale's. It would seat four.




And behind the carriages were the coaches. There was Venis' very large black one. It would seat eight. There was Kahn's slightly smaller black one that would seat six. And then there were several black and dark red coaches, all of which were of a western style and were pulled by four to six Clydesdale's, depending on if it was a four seater or a six seater. One of the six seater's was marked for Miss Inion and her party, which they presumed included Leo as the two of them had become such good friends.

Each coach and carriage had a two man team, all dressed identical in a gray top hat and tails tuxedo. One driver and one on the back to help guests in and out of the vehicles. The vehicles had all been washed and cleaned right before they arrived at the Inn so everything was pristine and shinny and looked brand new. The guests of the Inn were going to arrive at the Ball in style.

The men who were on the backs of the coaches and carriages all got down and held the doors for the guests and wait for them to start to arrive.

Nine men woke up the morning of the ball and donned their tuxedo's. Venis had told them that Casandra had ordered them to take the time off. They were not allowed to work. So they all took turns showering and then they all got dressed. None of them had made plans to escort any ladies, but they all knew that if nothing else, Tasha would dance with each of them at least once.

So it was in a mass of black coats that nine men left the room of the Goddess' employee's. Manny, Shamus, Isah, Joseph, Keven, Andrew, William, Ivan, and Paul, all headed down to the coaches. Derek, Jorge, and Bo had plans on coming from the keep with their families. Jorge was bringing his wife Olivia, his thirteen year old son Noe, his twelve year old daughter Gabriela, and his eleven year old son Juan.

Derek was bringing his wife Karen and his seventeen year old son Jason. And Bo was bringing his girlfriend of five years, Alyssa, and the two carat diamond in platinum engagement ring that Venis and Tasha had made for him to give to her. Not to mention his high hopes that she would say yes.

So the nine men were down at the coaches and loaded into two. They waited for everyone else to come down so that they could leave. But they wanted to be first ones down so they could see the parade of lovely ladies in their ball gowns.

Maddie got dressed for the ball in her formal priestess gown, peridot ring and Lady of The Lake pendant. She grabbed her cloak as she exited the room, she went to the stables and saddled her horse. It was such a nice night and she she wanted to ride. Once she mounted, she lined up behind the carriages. so she could follow them. she wondered if her parents were going to be there. Before she had time to think on the subject, she recieved a mental link from Kyra, summoning her to Castle Darkmane. Maddie turned her steed aroound and raced to the castle.

Seleen was smart, she woke Shuda up two hours earlier than they would have needed to get up and get ready. She knew how they were when getting ready to go out. And the two extra hours was enough to cover it. Because now it was time to get ready and they were actually ready to get ready.

Seleen was curling her hair and doing her make-up in an attempt to get ready. She had the prettiest gown to wear and Venis had given her a tiara to wear. So she was making sure everything was perfect. After all, this was her first Valentines day with her boyfriend. She was rather high on love. But she took her shot anyway. Five left.

Unlike Venis and Tasha, Seleen didn't have a permanent room at Claremount. So she packed a bag for herself and Shuda so they would have clothes to wear the next day. She made sure to include the garment bags and other such items they would need for the formal clothes they were wearing. There was a box for her tiara as well, and Tasha had seen her gown and had made her a scepter to go with it. So she included the box for that as well.

Now she had everything ready for them to go, there was one last thing for her to do. She stepped into her gown and then pulled it up into place. "Sweetheart, could you fasten this for me?" And once the gown was done up she would put on the wrap, which also fastened in the back. Once that was done she took a moment to kiss him on the cheek, not wanting to mess up her make-up. "Thank you baby, love you."

The finishing touch to Seleen's preparations was the white gold diamond and ruby jewelry that she was going to wear. Necklace, earrings, bracelet, ring, all with ruby's and diamond's, a pair of diamond stud earrings, and a white gold ankle bracelet. She was ready to go. She figured it would not be long before he was as well.

It was a bustle of activity in Inion's room. Juliet invited a new friend, a lovley girl named Gabriila. Thankfully Fia and Aryanna where around to help. Aryannna helped the two girls do thier hair and makeup while Fia did Inion's hair then Inion did Aryanna's. Each lovely lady had small gemstones that matched their dresses in their hair that sparkled as the moved. Croga was wise and stayed out of the way and it only took Dia getting tripped over a couple of times for her to do the same. After awhile and several checks and rechecks in the mirrors they all were finally ready to leave.

They headed down to the carriages and was surprised to fine one just for them, and who should be standing waiting for them. The handsome Leo. Each lady greeted him, he was introduced to Juliets friend as they where helped into the carriage. Gabrilia, Juliet and Aryanna sat on one side, then Fi and Inion, leaving a place next to Inion for Leo on the other. Before getting in Inion stopped to kiss Leo and whisper to him"I am lucky to be escorted by the most handsome man who will be at the ball."

Just as they where all loaded into the carriage out bounded Dia, sporting her diamond studded collar, followed more slowly by Croga. The girls just laughed as the too settled in. Croga almost rolling his eyes at Inion. He was not your normal tiger but much much more.

With Belle on one arm, and Petit trésor holding his other hand, he led the ladies from the room. The little loup followed along side. He took the ladies downstairs and out to the carriages out front. They were slated to be seated in the first black carriage. Venis' usual carriage. But Petit trésor was supposed to ride in Cinderella's carriage. So he walked her over to the carriage and helped her up. Her little loup jumped up to ride with the driver.

Tasha was already in the carriage so it was ok to leave her there while He and Belle went to go get in the one behind them. "Petit trésor, this is Lady Tasha Masterson. I am sure she will not mind you calling her Aunt Tasha if you like, but you might want to ask her first if it is ok. Behave for your Mommy and me Si vous plea." He kissed her cheek and waited while Belle did the same. Then they went to the carriage that was for them to ride in. They faced forward so they could keep Petit trésor is sight.

Seleen woke him up two hours early so they could get ready. Granted he could get ready right before they needed to leave but he was not complaining. After everything was said and done he went to his closet and took a look inside. He wanted to wear something that was good enough to be next to Seleens outfit. After a little bit of thinking he found the best thing to match it. He pulled it out making sure he got the silk red shirt, the leather vest, pants and coat he was going to wear. After he got the clothing out he started to look for what would go with he suit is was going to wear so he saw the pair to boots that would go great with the outfit that he picked out. As he was looking at the outfit on the bed he shoke his head. The vest would have to go he have another one that would work so he removed the leather vest and took out a black and red one with dragons on it. "Yes that would work out great." He thought. So he put on the pants and shirt when Seleen asked him to fasten her up.

After he got behind her and fastened her up he got a kiss from her and he smiled. "Love you too hun." After the kiss he went back to the bed and put on the vest buttoning it up and then fastened the boots. He got up and put the coat on. "Ok dear lets go." And with the he put his arm out so she could put hers with his and he open the door to their room and walked out. He closed the door behind him and locked it. "Well my dear here we go." With the he led her down the stairs making sure to not to step on her dress. As they got out he saw the horse carriage that was going to take them, He led Seleen to the entrance of the carriage and open the small door. "There you go m'lday. Ladies first." He was bowing as he said it.

Lord and Lady Jordianthan were the last to arrive. It was now time to go. With the huge pink dragon in the lead pulling Cinderella' carriage, the caravan of guests in the coaches and carriages departed the Inn. There had been a lot of guests who were coming along, but some of the coaches ended up not being needed. Those would stay behind to transport any late arrivals if needed.

The driver of the lead vehicle spoke loudly enough to be heard. "Willow ... Take us to Claremount Castle please." There was no Shake of the reigns required. The driver only held onto them in case he needed to stop her from chasing something or some other reason. She was only eight years old after all.

They were a few miles from the Inn, the carriages and coaches following along behind. That was where the first portal was that would handle a group this size. They went through the portal and it cut nearly three hours off their trip. The scenery was not very different from that which they left behind.

They traveled for almost an hour before they cam upon the next portal. This portal took two more hours off their trip. The next portal was closer than the previous two. And it took five hours off their trip. They were just under an hour away now. There would be no more portals.

This area had some lovely patches of tree's all covered in snow. The snow showed no signs of melting, but the roads were surprisingly clear. One would know that the Castle was not far away when they would see the signs that marked the road. Willow walked along looking at the signs like they were a new toy. But she was behaving and just kept walking along.

They pulled into the driveway and followed it around to the front entrance of the Castle. Willow stopped in front of the door so her carriage could be unloaded. Once that was done she would move around to the stables. Each carriage and coach behind her would follow suit. The guests has arrived.
