Emilia helped her new daughter off the horse and left the horse with the stable hand.
"Come on, lets get you settled in.
She took her hand and led her up to her new room on the third floor.
"This is our room, I'm sorry I haven't gotten you any new toys or clothes yet, I will do that tomorrow."

Ilϊvλnis walked in the door of the room, and her jaw like to hit the floor.
"Oh Mommy it's gorgeous. But I really don't need any toys, this babydoll is plenty."
It was going to take awhile to being able to have things. She was enjoying having a Mommy

She smiled at her.
"This couch here folds out into a bed. This is where you will sleep."
She pointed to the bathroom.
"The bathroom is there."
She opened the door to her room.
"This is my room."

"Wow this is soooo beautiful. Umm Mommy, how do you fit a whole bed into a couch? "
She had never heard of a sofa bed before.
She walked to the bathroom and her eyes grew big, she had never seen anything so beautiful or big.
"Are you sure that's not a swimming pool?"

She laghed as she watched her move around the room exploring things.
"I am sure that is not a pool, and the bed folds up into the couch, I will show you when it is time for bed."
She moved to a chair.
"Come here little one, there are a few simple rules."
She began slowly.
"There are two boxes in my room a purple box with a lock on it and a jewlery box, both are in my room, you must promise never to touch them."
She paused to make sure she heard.
"You must not leave the Inn alone, I would worry if I coulden't find you."
There was one other rule and then she was done.
"You must be ready for bed by eight o'clock so I can tuck you in."
"I am sure that is not a pool, and the bed folds up into the couch, I will show you when it is time for bed."

She walked over to her new mother and sat down. She listened to what she had to say, and the rules were perfectly reasonable.
"OK Mommy, don't touch the purple or jewerly boxes, and bedtime by eight o'clock. As far as leaving the inn. I think I can get lost in this room."

Emilia did not normally eat pb and j but for her new daughter she would make an acception.
She led her down to the kitchen and then lifted her up onto a stool at the breakfast bar.
She got the bread, peanut butter, and glasses out of the cabinet. A knife from the draw followed. Then she turned tp the fridge and removed the jelly and the milk.
She poured two glasses of milk and made the sandwiches, after she put everything away she came and sat down next to Ilϊvλnis.
"There we are lunch, dig in."
She led her down to the kitchen and then lifted her up onto a stool at the breakfast bar.

Ilϊvλnis took her time to eat her sandwhich, and dink her milk. Emilia was right did make a good pb & j. After she was done she looked at Emilia and smiled. She was starting to feel comfortable around her new mother.

She thought about Emilia's question for a minute. She had only had one dream and that was to have friends and family. Noow it seemed her dream was coming true.

"Just a second!" shouted from within the room, doc blake was just out of the shower, and it took him a moment to get to the door, but soon a shirtless Donald Blake. hair still wet and a towel around his neck, he was wearing his flannel sleeping pants though, he did think it best to put pants on.
"Yes?" opening the door, a big smile on his face."Oh, hey Ems. whats up? everything alright?" he apparently didnt notice the child, he was fan of eye contact when you where speaking to someone.

"I'm six and a half..... I think."
For some reason she wasn't feeling as shy as she normally did. This friend of her mommy's was really nice.
"Yes sir I'm having fun, Mommy just fixed me my favorite lunch, peanut butter and jelly."
Then remembering what the nuns had said about talking to much, she got quiet again.
