A Broken Stray

Sky entered the main doors streaking blood all down in, for one of the few times he had his head ducked low so his eyes couldnt be seen. Then the rest of him followed broken and battered. His face of what could be seen looked like so much fur and lumps mixed with scarlette. His working arm that opened the door reached back for sides, usually you could see his ribs but in this case you could literally see some of them through the viscious bite wounds he had on both sides of his body. His legs and tail appeared to be the only thing on his body working properly. his black jacket, typically his symbol that he wasn't completly feral was nowhere to be found. He took deep gasps for air, every one felt like hell rushing through his body and into his lungs, a for sure sign his ribs were more then likely broken. His once glossy fur now sticky and ratted. He was by all means and miracles walking though. He didn't know where he was going but he knew if he didn't find help, and soon he was going to be n a lot of trouble.

Tasha had been headed down to get something to eat when she saw Sky come in. He looked like he had been eaten alive. She rushed over to him and grabbed hold of him before he fell down. "Sky, what happened?" There was a slight sense of urgency to her voice. "Do you think you can make it up the stairs?" She had to get him to her room to treat him. If he couldn't make it she had to figure something out.

"I can... walk... up the stairs... its not as bad as it looks.... I must look like.... well pretty bad. I could not stand... someone carrying me... No magic please... I'll die before... i let someone treat... me with magic..."

He gave a grin then quite a few fangs missing but it was still a very toothy smile. He leaned on Tasha for support. He watched his blood smear on her clothes and felt a small pang of guilt. He wasnt even sure about coming here he truly was becoming more and more civlized.

"If i.. cant... survival of the fittest... big something with teeth. I may have ran it off.... i don't know. I am not dead so... i at least hurt it... Careful in forest..."

Tasha didn't care in the least about getting blood on her clothes. "No magic, gotcha." She let him lean on her like she was a crutch. "I think we can manage Cas, will you go up behind me so I don't fall backwards. Between the two of us, we can get him ... Big something with teeth?" No way she just heard him right.

She stopped for a moment and looked at Sky. She moved some of his fur carefully and looked at his bite marks. "Crap." She opened a mental link immediately. ~Scaly butt, do you need a healer too?~ She continued towards the stairs with Sky leaning on her.

"Well.. i was tracking an... unusual scent. and well.." He turned his head away from them and coughed a few hard times blood coming up and splattering on the floor. "I was trying to make... sure it was nothing dangerous. I am just glad i ran into it.... no one else. I can.. take things like this. However it would have been... nice to have someone like... Dre there to back me up. He could have took that thing."

Skys head was lolling around in small circles, he was clearly very disoriented, he had reached the inn just in time actually. "you know i was about ready to take a nap and rest a bit then i saw then inn.. figure id work my way here."
