She smiled wondering how old she took her for but let it go and calmed down even more. She continued to stand there and talk...she was beginning to get a little sleepy but didn't want to leave yet.

"Maybe I can meet them sometime later even though I'm 7 years older than them. Still would be nice to meet them."

"I think you will be able to meet them soon."

She smiled.

"We can wait till after you have met your grandmother."

Her smile went away and instantly turned into a frown. How did she tell someone she barely knows that she has no interest in meeting the woman they call her grandmother.

"Oh....then I suppose I won't get to meet them then."

She left it at that and started moving back and forth on her feet.

"Kyra, whats wrong?"

Was it something about Venis? She decided not to ask that question.

"Of course you will get to meet them, whenever you want to, I just thought that you would want to meet true family first."

She shook her head not wanting to answer the what's wrong. She answered her honestly about meeting her real family.

"I think I've met all the true family that I can handle for now."

She left it at that and watched her.

She smiled, for some reason Kyra did not want to talk about Venis, se let it go.

"Then as soon as I am able I will make sure you meet my children."

Kyra yawned knowing the hour grew later and if she didn't have her rearend in bed soon Dre was going to be angry when he came by to check on her and find that she wasn't there. She sighed and nodded to Cas.

"I hate to be a party pooper but I think I need to go get some sleep before dad has my hide for not sleeping again."

She remembers the last time she stayed up on night talking to Maddie. He wasn't happy but that could have been the fact that they had stayed up all night drinking and went to work drunk. She shrugged as if in her own private conversation with herself.

Yawns really were contagious, Cas let out a big one.

"Dre does worry about those he loves. I think it may be time for me to go to bed as well."

She stood from the bench.

"If you ever want to talk I am in room 306. Come on Kjay lets go back inside."

"Thank you."

That was all she said as she headed off to her room. Once in her room she shut and locked the door and slipped into bed. She felt better and went fast to sleep.

Cas let her go and looked up into the stars. The night was perfect for looking at them.

She reached over to pet Kjay, and then went back to her own room.
