Apart from the dance floor is a rest area. This is where you can sit, relax, mingle, and get into trouble of another kind. Here you will find tables with cornucopia centerpieces, and a buffet with the menu for the evening. It is self serve. Also here is an area for playing a game of darts. (Be sure to see the rules for playing darts. This is the only party thread were dice will be allowed).

It had been a while since she was amongst the other patrons at the Inn, but she knew that tonight was the night of the party and she had to be there. Not much of a social person she was not much for parties, but she knew that it wouldn't be right for her not to go.

Besides, she enjoyed dressing up. It was the one time of the year where she could actually wear a costume and not get odd looks. One thing, this party reminded her of last years party. This was a new year and these were new people, she was going to make a strong effort to be social.

Her costume was subtle - for her - and the yellow pixi wings moved like real ones as she walked the forest floor. The top was a very light green, nearly silver, and served to reflect portions of light directed at her. The large leaves that served for a skirt were real leaves she had harvested the other day and rubbed them with oils to preserve their appearance. They stopped not too far above her knees and bounced slightly with each step so she stepped lightly.

A stretch of her arms above her head and she looked behind her into the dark night, her hair was a mess of curls tonight and they swung with the turn of her head. Epiphany half expecting to see someone there. Or perhaps that was a wish. No matter.

Getting nearer she saw a few of them had showed up and were around the dance floor. For now, she would slip off at sit at one of the tables.

"Do you always come to parties to sit by yourself, Elvellon?" Armandeus had appeared literally out of nowhere, standing in the shadows behind her. That was the advantage to having a party in an area surrounded by woodland. Considering what he knew about this holiday, which was not much, he hadn't wanted to come to the party, but in the end curiosity had won out.

The Elf didn't own anything that could be considered a costume, but he did have better clothes than his usual tunic and leggings. Tonight he was dressed in traditional archer's clothing with that deep purple cloak on over the top. Moving more into view, he gave her a grin, and pulled out one of the empty chairs. "It looks like you could use some company."

Epiphany was busy watching the other people coming in and talking, that she did not see Ar when he showed up. It truly was like he had appeared out of no where. When he spoke she blinked and turned her head about to see him.

"Wow, I haven't seen you in an eternity." It seemed that way. The last time she remembered seeing him had to be on his birthday, and that was many months ago. As he took the seat near her she gave a small smile and pushed her hair back behind an ear. Curls. He wasn't going to tease her about the curls was he? He and Elessar had seen her in many strange things, but she doubted that they ever saw her hair like this.

Epiphany looked out to the crowd and gave a small shrug of her shoulders. "Parties. You remember that I'm not much for large gatherings." Okay, so the crowd was not large, but still. "I like company. I'm just.. sitting here thinking. Don't worry. Soon I'll jump up and dive into all that food you made and start some fun or something. That's how I do."

Would he believe it?

Cad had been running late. He had run into some trouble with his costume. He had chose to go as a 'Playa In a Management Position'. He wondered what people would think. He found it rather amusing himself. He snuck into the clearing away from the majority of the people in order to better scan the area. He found this to be a much better way to find out where people were.

Dalia was not sure it was a good idea for her to go to the party. She had not even been sure she was staying at the Inn much longer as of yet. But she felt the need to go, if for no other reason than the hopes of seeing Zeph again.

So she went to find a costume befitting her station yet conveying her message to Zeph. She found something perfect. So she rented the costume and then wore it to the party. It was Marie Antoinette, yet it was something called the 'Playboy Bunny' version. She thought it would be something sexy to wear.

And that was how she arrived at he party. She too had entered where the crowd was the smallest. She wanted the chance to look for Zeph and see whom else was in attendance.

He was looking around amazed at some of the costumes. He knew he should have taken more time with his, but it seemed to fit him. Being there in the dark, he was abe to see everyone enter. He had seen the group enter, he recongized his friend's sister and he guessed the one entering by herself was his mother. he guessed to call the outfit hot was something different entirely.

He caught movement out from the corner of his eye and turned his head to see a lone fgure enter. It was a good thing he was wearing a mask, as his mouth had dropped open again. That seemed to be common when looking at the costumes the lasses wore for this. Like the pirate, and the priestess(nun), and well all of them. This one though not only made his mouth drop because of the costume itself but because he recongized who was wearing it. That was the Princess right? Well inquiring minds had to know.

He moved this way over there, standing off a little and just studied her with his icy blues behind that slver mask. If it was he was sure she would have man men flocking to her, dressed as such, so she would not want one more. But he did feel compelled to say hello. After all she was one of the few he knew.

Sucking it up he walked over and said softly, "I du be seein the winds ded favor ye tu be findin this place."

Krys took a break from dancing with Kevin and went to get her some punch, she noticed a dart board and walked over to it. ~I haven't played darts in years. I wonder if I'm still any good.~ She walks up to the board and picks up a dart feeling the cold steel in her fingers. She walks to the appointed line. She looks around to make sure no one is watching. Once she feels comfortable that no one will notice she takes aim and throws.

It did indeed feel like an eternity had passed since their last meeting; Armandeus' birthday had been back in the early part of August. How could she not expect him to tease her about the curls? Yes, it was true that he and Elessar had seen her in some rather odd things, but curls were new, and that meant free reign.

In his long years of life there were very few things Armandeus had found that horrified and disgusted him at the same time. Fortunately for him all those things existed in the past, or so he had thought until the music at the party suddenly stopped.

That was what first caught his attention, for the sounds had been grating to his sensitive ears, but with the group's entrance his attention was swiftly drawn to them. Armandeus had survived many things in his life, but to see a demon was a jolt. He went into shock, his body beginning to shake. Whatever joke he may have had about Epiphany's hair died on his lips as his eyes rolled back into his head and he began slumping from his seat.

She had seen people getting ready to go out and seen postings around the inn about a Halloween Party. She remembered being taken out during this time like some sort of...side show but knew in many places it was different. She also knew that many people dressed up as something they weren't for an evening so she decided to go out and find herself something else to be for a night. Standing only 3 feet tall she had to search in the toddler section but found a cute costume and decided to make some alterations to it. It was a dragon costume which she had holes put in the back so that her natural wings can fit through it. This made her a dragon-fairy. She had asked around to some people in the store she went to find out how to alter her wings to make them match the costume. She changed into the costume before having her wings altered for the night that way she could head straight to the party. Once ready she went to where it was being held and cautiously went in looking around at all the different people and their costumes. She found herself a seat away from everyone and sat down letting her legs swing back and forth like a bored child.

He looked up, as he waited for the Princess to respond, and saw something that was as cute as a button. He had to call out. "Greetins wee one. Ye du be lookin great in what du be yer costume. Du be nae takin all of what du be the maidens as yer offerin." He smiled so they would know he was kidding.

Inion gave Aiden's hand a little squeeze as they neared the prty, she hadn't really met many people at the Inn and it had been a while since she had been to a party. She was happy to actually be going out and doing something fun and it was even better that she was with him. And didn't they look so cute as Bonnie and Clyde. The music and laughter drifted to her ears and suddenly they were at the edge of the party. Stopping to glance around she smiled at the many different costumes. She gave Aiden a smile "Well Clyde you ready to rob them of all thier candy?" She shifted the toy gun so it rested on her shoulder and stepped into the light.

One minute she was talking to Ar and the next more people came in. She knew it wouldn't be long before others arrived in this area so it was really not a shocker. While looking at the others that were there, she saw Venis enter in with her entourage.

Very interesting. Epiphany turned back around to comment to Ar to find that he was falling over. "Ar?" Yes, she used the short form of his name, but he knew that, she had been doing it for a long time now.

"Ar? Are you okay?" Fortunately for her others seemed occupied with other things and didn't seem to notice that he had passed out. Maybe they thought that he might have had too much to eat. This might have been the cue she was needing. Already close to Ar she leaned into him more and summoned up that extra bit of strength.

Arm under him, she hefted him up and begun slipping out through the shadows. She had to get him back to the Inn.

Aiden couldn't say he had met many more people than she had, in fact it was probably less. He had met Mary-Ann and that gun wielding woman, but that had been it. He had to face it, he needed to get out more!

Hopefully the party would do that, but he wouldn't mind if he didn't. Inion was with him, and that was all he really needed. Besides, she made the best Bonnie he had ever laid eyes on. He grinned widely at her. "Only if they have blood candy." Was he kidding? Maybe, but then again he had blood apples before.

She looked around when she heard someone speaking in her direction and then realized when it was directed at her. She was kind of confused because what she thought was a he talked funny. So she just smiled and waved noticing he was with someone.

He saw the wave and returned it. He looked around and nodded to all. he decided to see what was going on out on the dance floor. Looking around he noticed it was getting very crowded.
