He grinned, leaning into her touch, and nodded. "Yeah, I usually find it easier to teach female Channelers a Weave by linking with them. Of course, I can explain how the weave works, and you can try it yourself, but it would take longer. I am, of course, willing to do it either way. The choice is yours." With a slight smirk, he seized Saidin, forming weaves of Air to catch a wine goblet up and allow it to float over to him. "Now then, since we need to start simple, let's work with this first. There's a brief moment of resistance at first, but then, it gets easier. You...well, you'll see what I mean." He sat the goblet down on the bedside table, and began preparing himself for the procedure. After a moment, he looked back up to Airtia, and took both of her hands. "Would you allow me to control the Link this time, since I'll have to walk you through it first?"

Oh, this was going to be fun....

Of course he had taught Weaves to others who could Channel - everyone teaches at some point - though it never occurred to her that some of his pupils might have been female. No matter, it wasn't anything to worry over.

"Iffen we are going tae be linked later, then I may as well learn that way as well nae?" Gawain had not pushed her back, neither had he looked uncomfortable, and therefore Airtia stepped forward, moving closer between his legs before turning to sit upon his left leg. It was perfectly fine for her to sit in his lap. With their fingers interlocked he should notice the twisted gold and silver band on her ring finger.

"I'm ready. Yer lead." With that she took hold of the Source and waited.
