Awaiting a responce

Venis had sent a note home to her husband that she wanted him to come take her to the Halloween party. She had not heard back from him. That worried her some. She had also sent a note to her furry little best friend. She had not heard back from him either. So she stood there looking at he dress forms before her.

She had a few options, and some of them had matching costumes for her escort would she have one and they be in need of a costume. But she had another option as well. She had found the perfect costume for the off chance that she have need of attending this event without an escort. She gasped at the thought. It was unheard of for a married woman to arrive unattended to such an event. Especially one of her station. But for now, she would await a knock upon her door.

She smiled. "Oh no, I'm all yours tonight. We need to go check on Venis." She looked up and saw a whole lot of people were thinking the same thing. She looked to Manny. "She not out of there yet? I know she's not waiting on Christmas." Oh yes, Christmas was coming. She was not looking forward to that.

He nodded his head to manny. Well he knew who they were, but he knew none of them knew he was. Chirstmas? Gods. He was so not being Saint Beastie. the thought of him running around in a red loincloth and a white beard on his scaley snout made him shudder. He stood there patiently waiting on his mother. eyes glancing around and thoughts he should not have entering his head.

Krys hadn't even thought about Christmas being around the corner. This would be the first Christmas her and her family had been together since her mother had disappeared."My mother does have a tendency of making a grand enterance.

He looked up, "She does? Tis she someone of import then? Well that would seem to be of reason with all the lovely Ladies I see here and men who look like they could stop a dragon with thier bare hands."

he looked around and nodded, yes good protection indeed but seems maybe he had found a weakness. He would brooch it with them another time. He also knew Krystal was gonna be oh so pissed, but what was All Hallow's without Tricks and Treats. Then again he wondered what Treats he would get.

Krys grinned slightly. She would love to see someone try to stop her brother with their bare hands. "Yes Sir I guess you could say she is. As far as stopping a dragon with their bare hands, I would have to say it would depend on the dragon."

it was then Krys felt a cool breeze, and she started to wish she had wore something other than a thong under her sheer costume.

He raised a grey brow, "You know dragons then? Hmm, that is intteresting. Please share what you know." His eyes closed slowly and open, slower. Catching the light they seemed to gleam and were almost hypnotic. He felt the breeze as well, and it had some reaction to him. He hoped no one noticed. He stood there with these ladies and men, just listening to everything.

Krys thought of Dre for a moment."I only know one, and thats my brother Dre. Let's see, how do I describe Dre. Big, scaley, hot headed, a pain in the butt, loyal, loving (in his own way). One of the finest dragons I know. And I would bet ten gold coins, that there isn't a human alive that could take him." She really wasn't sure what made her say that. She guessed it had something to do with the fact that she had been seperated from her family for so long, that she had realized just how much each member meant to her

He chuckled, and it sounded like music. The sound plucking at anyone's emotions. "Sounds more like a Teddy Bear then a dragon. Or of this Lady," he gestured to Tasha. "Minus the scales of course. Just add fur. Never have seen why women do like so much hair on themselves." An innocent comment that can be takin so many ways.

"i do not know many men that like curling up with hairy women," looking at the employees for support. Though he noticed some were watching him and others watching the ladies. He toed the floor and spoke softly, "I do so love seeing the drapes and carpets matching." Yep he was at it again, moving just enough to keep things interesting.

He then looked at Krystal, "But you said that the Lady here has her hands full with your brother. how so? He that big or something?" He flashed a smile that would melt even an ice giants heart.

Krys chuckled. She got a mental image of Dre as a teddy bear. She was still kicking her self for what she said earlier [i]"No he's definetly not a teddy bear. I was simply stating that anyone who knows my brother knows how much a handful he can be. She shiuns were still hurting from where he had smacked her in the knees earlier.

He chuckled as she answered, "This includes you I take it? Is he bigger then two hands? Mayhap that is why he is so hot headed. A lady can not handle him as there is to much to handle. But then again, I have noticed that being fiery, passionate, and hot head are family traits to be sure. As well as looks. Seems the Lady of Import, keeps the best of the best around her."

He looked her over, "Was a good choice to say the least." He then changed the subject again, " Do you think you could handle your brother?"

He smiled, one cause he was around and two the context was missed. Ahh that was his sis. He still knew that she knew more then she was letting on. so he touched her arm, a slight wave of lust going into her.

"So between use mysterious people. what is truly going on with the Lady and your brother?"

Krys smiled cooly. She wasn't about to tell someone who she didn't know what she may or may about her brother and Tasha. Truth was she really didn't know herself, because she hadn't had time to talk to Tasha yet. Although it was getting harder and harder to resist the gentlemen's charm. She could feel her cold dead blood getting hot, and her sheer outfit didn't help hide her high beams. "Sorry dear friend, if you want to know, you'll have to ask the Lady here."

"I shall, when the time is right. But for now I am curious as to your sisterly insight." He flashed her one of his smiles, his eyes sparkling. he turned up the wave just a little, his face remaining innocent.

"who knows best what is happening to one's brother then a sister after all." he chukcled, but tried a different tact. "Maybe the lady has another already, or your brother does. If your brother looks like you, then I am sure that there are scoreds of admiriers swooning to be next to them. Again that is if you are a basis to go on."

He knew the line he would not cross, but she had information he wanted.He would find it out one way or another. He was determined. All in the hallway and Venis' room would feel them, but could not be linked to a source except themselves.

Krys had two mental images in her head. One was of Dre with blonde hair, boobs and heels. The other was of her looking loike a dragon. She couldn't help but snicker. She got a sly grin on her face. "Honestly I don't know what my brother thinks. I try to stay to stay out of his personal life, so he'll stay out of mine. For all I know he may already have a collection of lovers. Same goes for Tasha. But how can he not like such a lovely lady as Tasha. I will say this though, I think they would make a beautiful couple."

Manny and the other men where standing there listening to the exchange and noticing that Tasha was choosing to ignore them. "No, Miss Tasha, she has not made a sound." They just waited.

Seleen was leaning with her back against Shuda while he was leaning against the wall. They had seen everyone else arriving at Venis' door save for the one person Venis was waiting for. Seleen knew she was too proud to not go, so she would come up with something. They just waited.

Venis knew they were all outside her door waiting for her. She deceided with a sigh that she would not keep them waiting any longer. She got up from her chair and walked over to the very last dress hanger. She removed her silk robe and laid it over one of the other dress hangers and began to don the attire she chose to wear for the evening. If she was going to go unescorted, she was going to go large and in charge.

She was very careful as she put on each peice of he costume, the spikes weren't exactly sharp, but she didn't want to break one either. She left her hair to fall down her back, no need to fix it. She slipped into her boots, two inches higher than usual. Being six four, her usual made her six ten, these boots made her an even seven feet tall. The two inches of platform under the front made the extra two inches of heel easier to walk in.

She had already filled two flasks and put on inside each boot. She grabbed her pack of cigarettes and slid them into the side of her top. She was ready. She walked to her door and opened it. Stepping out of the doorway into the hall she watched as the jaws dropped. "Do we not have a party to attend?" She saw Seleen cover Shuda's eye. She saw Tasha elbow her date. She saw Krys grin and her employees all gawk at her. "Come on now, I can't get the rest of the way into costume until we are out side. Let's go." The door closed behind her and she walked off, everyone else in tow.
