The finishing touches

After getting back into her room Cassie closed and locked the door she still had a couple hours left till evening and she was going to use it to finish getting ready. she took the dress back out of the box and laid it in the bed and then looked at the shoes V had said she should wear the matched the dress but she coulden't walk in them and besides she was already almost as that as him anyway she pulled out a comfortable pair of soft leather shoes with no heal.

She took off the dress she was wearing being very careful with her hair and went into the bathroom and ran some water into the sink she really like this thing called disposable razor she began to shave her long legs then rinced the sink filled it with fresh water and got a wash cloth and her oils lavander again she poured some into the water concentrating it and soaked the wash cloth in it and began to rub it into her skin. Next she picked a lotion and rubbed it into her legs and arms. Last thing she did was take the oil and rub a very small amount of it to her preasure points. The result was not an over powering smell like one would think but one that would linger a few moments as she walked through a room and then disipate quickly.

Now she sat down and looked in the mirror and did something that she hardley ever did she didn't think she needed it but tonight was special so she took out her eye makeup and applied just a little it did open her eyes but was not heavy enough to cover her natural beauty.

Then she put on her new neackless and ring and then the dress it was going to be very different not wearing a corsset but the dress woulden't allow for it. She stepped into it and pulled it up her body making sure that the strapps in the back laid right.

Now she was almost ready she got the small box containing the Marques' gift and sat down to write a note on partchment that she put into the lid of the box. she got a small leather pouch and placed the box and the letter the Marques had given her into the pouch before walking out her door she picked out a formal cloak that had a hood to ward against the cold. She put it over her shoulders and fastened it with diamond rose pin and went to where there was suposed to be transportation waiting for her.
