Checking Out Empty Checking Out

Keely wasn't ready to settle down in one place and was feeling the need to go out and explore. Given that she packed her bags with all of her belongings and fixed up the room to leave it as she found it. Making sure she had everything removed she grabbed the key and locked the door behind her. Once the door was shut she made her way down to the front desk to return the key and pay her bill. Standing at the front desk she rang the bell and waited for someone to come help her.

Girl had to make a living some type of way, ya know? Going around and doing various type of exploitations and stroking fires only got a person so far, besides, she didn't mind doing a thing or two here at the Inn. She was here for 'free' as long as she did a few things here and there and paid under the table . . .

She had a towel over her shoulder and an icy bucket in her hand as she came from the bar area. Wasn't wet but she was going to be - so was someone else she just had to get the after washing snack first. So she saw the person at the desk and took a bit of a detour.

Sim-sim-salabim that icy bucket hit the front desk counter first and slid a few inches before she was there two. "What's up?"

Keely looked to the woman as if she were crazy and shook her head. Placing the keys on the desk she spoke rather annoyed at this point.

I need to know the total on my room so I can leave. Here are the keys and the room is under Keely Aislinn.

She stood there and tapped her finger against the counter as she waited rather impatiently for the woman to help her.

"Now hold on, just hold on. No need to get all wound up," Vesta said as she pulled the ledger out from behind the desk. Gee, was this lady in a rush or what? Maybe she didn't like icy water or the way that Vesta came into the room? She didn't often make the best type of entrances so it was understandable.

That bucket of icy water had only made a few small splashes on the counter and she used the towel she had with her to absently wipe them up as her other hand flipped through the ledgers rather colorful pages. "Keely, Keely, Kee-ah-ha! Keely Aislinn. Here it is, right where you signed." There were some little notes around by the name too but Vesta didn't think that they were important as they were surrounded by a character word bubble.

"Been here a month right? 30 nights?" Looking up a moment to see if Keely did one of those agreeable nods of her head. She was being charged for one of those first floor rooms that went for 'One Silver' a night - what else could the '1s' mean right?

"Thirty Silvers please. How ya paying?"

Keely tapped her foot waiting and not thinking she was getting wound up until the woman said she was. Trying to calm down and be patient made it all worse for her as she was in a bit of a hurry and it was starting to show. Nodding to the woman as she said how many nights she was here as that was about accurate. After hearing the total she dug into her bag and found the appropriate amount and made it thirty-one silver pieces and handed it to the woman.

Here is the money. I gave more for any other tabs from the bar or clean up fees that I may have outstanding. Thank you.

Without waiting for any response she headed straight for the door and out of it before anything more could be said to her. Looking around she headed down the road and away from the inn.
